Adam and Eve were a married couple who had it all - a beautiful home, successful careers, and a seemingly perfect life. What they don't have are kids. Beneath the surface, their relationship had grown stale and predictable, leaving them both feeling unfulfilled.
Eve attended a charity event, and there she met Cain, a charming and handsome man. They immediately hit it off and found themselves talking for hours. They exchanged numbers and started texting each other every day.
Their conversations soon turned into secret meetups, where they would steal kisses and hold hands, feeling an intense attraction towards each other. Meanwhile, Adam noticed that Eve was acting differently, and he couldn't help but feel that something was off.
As the affair continued, Adam started to get suspicious and began to investigate. He discovered the texts between Eve and Cain and was devastated. He confronted Eve, who begged for forgiveness and promised to end things with Cain. However, Adam's trust in her was shattered, and he couldn't bring himself to forgive her.
Feeling betrayed, Adam confided to Basilia, his wealthy, sophisticated, widowed boss. He began seeing Basilia’s confidence, elegance, success, and intelligence on a different light and was inspired by her despite their 15-year age difference. While Basilia was taken aback by Adam's charm and wit.
When Eve found out about Adam and Basilia, she was heartbroken and realized that her infidelity had caused Adam pain which led to his betrayal. She ended things with Cain, but it was too late to salvage her marriage with Adam.
Eve fell into a deep depression and turned to drugs and alcohol to cope. Adam tried to help her, but the damage was already done. One night, Eve overdosed, and Adam found her lifeless body in their home.
The tragedy of Eve's death was a wake-up call for Adam, who realized that their failed marriage and Eve's infidelity had led to this tragic end. He regretted not being more attentive to her needs and now has two things in his mind, to get revenge on Cain and to marry Sopia.
