1.  Pwede ba si GOMO sa Globe modems?

Yups, of course! It seems that GOMO also uses (or maybe rent?) Globe facilities. This means that you can use GOMO sims to Globe modems without doing anything else in the modem.

2. Hindi na kailangan ang Globe modem para magamit ang GOMO sim?

Yups pows, no need to openline Globe modems. Just insert the GOMO sim and that's it.

3. How about Smart modems?

Bakit ka pa po mag S-Smart modem kung pwede naman ang GOMO sim sa Globe modem. Or you can simply use the GOMO sim on your mobile phone and use it as a hotspot. 

But for transparency, maybe you have to open line or unlock the Smart modem to use the GOMO sim.

4. Ayoko mag install ng GOMO app, pano na yan?

No problemo! If your phone does not support the GOMO app, or you don't want to download it for whateva reason, just do all your GOMO transactions at the GOMO website via Chrome. Just search GOMO ph and Google should show it on the upper portions of the result.

5. How to load the GOMO sim?

Via GOMO app or GOMO website. Available promos can be bought or paid using GCash, debit card, or credit card. Although, GCash seems to be the most convenient.

6. Bakit po walang Unli na offer?

Kasi po hindi sya laging available. Taken na sya kumbaga (jowks lang pows). Seriously speaking, GOMO's unli offer is not always available. But for the good news, it seems that may Unli offer every month, random nga lang. But some say, the pattern is during sweldo days or sinasabay sa mga events ng mga online shops tulad ni Lazada or Shopee.

7. Can I buy another Unli if naka subscribe pa ako sa Unli?

Pwede po, but you need to unsubscribe first to your current Unlimited internet promo. Or bili ka na lang po ng isa pang Gomo SIM na may unli offer. Pareho lang naman presyo nila at free delivery pa. Just make sure to buy at GOMO official stores.

8. Pero ayoko mag maintain ng maraming SIM at ayoko mag unsubscribe kasi sayang.

Nakow, problema nga yan. Ganito na lang po, bakit po sayang e naka unlimited na naman kayo davah? Or you can buy another SIM with unli offer sa GOMO store for backup purposes. Iba pag may backup, may rebound.

9. What will happen to my regular data allocation when I subscribe to the unlimited offer?

Intact po sya. Di sya gagalaw. Ang memetrohan or gagamitin is yun unlimited internet. If you check your regular data allocation while subscribed to the unli offer, you will notice that it is not being deducted.

10. Will my regular data allocation expire?

GOMO says that it is no expiry. But some users says that the SIM itself will expire after one year of no new registration.

Ang da best po na gawin dito is mag subscribe sa promo, kahit mura lang, para umabot kayo sa next anniv nyo. Di kayo iiwan ng SIM nyo kung hindi nyo sya kakalimutan.

11. Mahal ko po ang number ko kaya hindi ako makapag GOMO. Paano na po yun?

Edi ipa convert mo yun current SIM mo to GOMO. Simple!

Once you do that, your SIM will now be GOMO and will now enjoy all the awesome things that GOMO can offer.

C’mon guys, do we really have to discuss this. There are plenty of reasons why only GOMO is Strong. Out of all the telco players here in Philippines: Globe, Smart, Sun, and Dito, si GOMO lang talaga ang strong mga beshie.

3. No expiry.

Wag ka ng magalala o manghinayang. One of the concerns of mobile data users is that they will load their expire and that they have to register to another promo to carry over or extend their unused data allowance. But that is not a problem with GOMO. This is because, GOMO credits or allocation does not expire. Kaya nga forever davah.

 

4. Cheap promo.

The regular GOMO offer is 299 pesos for no expiration 30GB. Kung gagamitan ng utak, that is like 10 pesos per 1GB. Obviously, that is cheap. And it gets even better as there are certain flash offers wherein it can even become less than 10 pesos per 1GB. And of course, the best offer of them all, 499 pesos for 30 days of unlimited internet. The unli promo is capped at 5Mbps, but for some reason and based on experience, it can handle simultaneous sessions of Netflix, YouTube, Zoom, normal browsing, app updates, etc… Yun lang, olats sya pag nag download kasi ramdam yun epekto. Buti na lang, I’m no longer into downloading since most of the things I watched can already be viewed online.

 

5. Transparent.

And this is a good thing I like about GOMO. Transparent sya. All out or open kumbaga. They keep the users informed. Para bang walang tinatago. Unlike the other one, for some reason there are some sites and apps that won’t load. There’s no problem with the device or anything since trying it with a different internet provider works. But it will malfunction after switching back. Kaya medyo weird.

IMPORTANT! If you haven’t heard the news, hindi ka pa huli sa balita kaya may chance pang humabol.

On the next page that will appear, select the option of “KEEP MY EXISTING NUMBER”

This means that you will be able to keep your existing number and you will be give a new SIM card that will have your existing number.

Globe Smart No Expiration Promo

Great News! Now you’re Smart and Globe number can now have forever call, text, and data. Obviously, magandang balita yan lalo na ngayon pasko.

One of the main problems of Globe and Smart users here in the Philippines is that their registered promo will expire. Pag nag expire yun promo at hindi nai-extend, sayang ang natitirang data allowance, minutes na pang tawag, pati text message.

Yun iba naman is ayaw mag karga ng reserbang load at natatakot na baka daw manakawan. This is that unfortunate scenario call nakaw load. I haven’t experienced that yet but have read about it here: Anti NakawLoad

Going back, some users don’t put like to put too much load balance on their prepaid wallet since they are afraid of the so-called “nakaw load”. This is the reason why they would only load up if they will register to a promo.

Ok na sana yun. Kaso ang problema, minsan nakakalimutan mag register at nae-expire ang current promo. Sayangs ito lalo na kung may naiwan na malaking allocation.

But as mentioned, great news since expiration can now be a thing of the past. You’re Smart or Globe number can now have no expiration also. All you need MNP (Mobile Number Portability)

MNP basically allows any Globe, Smart, even Dito users to choose GOMO but they can still retain their old number. For example, Smart user ako since year 2000 at maganda numero ko kaya napamahal na sa akin ito. Yun nga lang problema yun nae-expiran ako ng load or ng promo.

The basic solution to this is to convert your number to GOMO. Once converted, you may now avail GOMO promos that are all no expiration (in short, ang GOMO promo e hindi nag eexpire kaya FOREVAH na sya kumbaga davah!)
