A lot of Hisoka fanboys will definitely get angry, but they should face the
fact that Hisoka is not that strong. In fact, in a match up with Razor, the
former notorious criminal would own the mad clown.
Let's look at the facts of Razor's former criminal self:
It took an extremely high level hunter like Ging Freecs to take him down and capture him.
Almost anyone familiar with Hunter X Hunter knows that Ging is one of the top 5 powerful characters in the HxH universe. If it will take someone of his calibre to defeat Razor, then this simply means that Razor is on a whole lot of different level compared to other characters.
He is one of the creators of Greed Island
As previously mentioned by Biscuit when she arrived on the game together with Gon and Killua, the game was impressively created by a bunch of talented Nen users. Of course,in Hunter X Hunter, it always boils down to the use and manipulation of Nen.
The Phantom Troupe recognizes his strength

Like all other animes, the Ryodan (also known as the Spider Brigade
or Phantom Troupe) are an elite group of baddies in both the HxH manga and
anime. The members are very powerful that the group is feared by across the
Hunter X Hunter universe.
Interestingly, when some members of the group illegally arrived at Greed Island, they are welcomed by Razor without any hint of fear in his face. He was in fact smiling and invited them to challenge him once they entered the game properly.
Of course, members of the Spiders are also always itching to fight that they acknowledge Razor's strength and heed his advise to fight him when they entered Greed Island
He eliminated many of Hisoka's group
In the dodgeball match between Razor and Gon's group, Razor showed exceptional skill when he distributed his nen between the 13 devils. This is some serious show of Nen in the Hunter x Hunter anime. Razor was so good in controlling his nen that even veteran nen users in the opposite team (the likes of Biscuit) are easily eliminated. Actually, Razor packed so much raw power (without putting nen) on the ball that it broke Hisoka's fingers.
At the end, it took three members (Gon, Killua, and Hisoka) to defeat Razor. Something that can be avoided if not for Hisoka's Bungee Gum ability.
Hisoka the Mad Clown
Let us now talk about Hisoka. Hisoka can be considered a fan favorite and his skills are showcases in many episodes (HxH anime) or pages (manga) of Hunter X Hunter.
In plenty of this appearances, he is always shown to have mad skills, cunning, deceptive, and excellent use of his nen ability.
The Matchup
Both are extremely strong and perfect control of their nen abilities. But there can only be one winner, and it will likely go to Razor.
Let us look at their dodgeball showdown. Hisoka broke his finger by simply catching a ball. He then needed help just to defeat Razor.
Though some may argue that in a one on one battle (not a game with rules), a Razor vs Hisoka will have a different outcome because Hisoka is a clever fighter, loves to fight, and murdered many opponents already. Yes, that may be true, but Razor is a wanted criminal. Meaning, he did some things, some nasty things which is why he needed to be brought in. So in terms of killing, Razor is just about in the same field as Hisoka.

I thought you were about to explain why razor is stronger and would most probably win. Instead, i just got a small explanation about how they are both killers 😹
