IT EXISTS! Great news for Initial D fans and diecast collectors alike. Since JADA's Initial D are now gold and hard to find, a great alternative comes in the form of Tomica.
As can be seen in the photos below, Tomica's Nissan Silvia diecast greatly resembles the one produced by Jada. From color, to rims, headlights, spoiler, even the rear is an awesome copy of Jada's Nissan Sil80 diecast.
And here's another great thing, since the Nissan Silvia in the anime has no special markings or decals, the one from Tomica can easily pass off as a hidden movie car diecast.
Of course Jada's Initial D is still a notch higher compared to Tomica. Simply because Jada has rubber tires, tailor fitted plates, and there's something about it (like an aura if you will) that attracts diecast collectors.
But then again, since Jada Initial D is now very rare and some even consider it as holy grails, Tomica's Nissan Silvia will suffice. Just look at the photos below and decide for yourselves.
