CODM How to Know if a Player Left

DISCOVERED! Finally found a way to see who are the players that quit or left during an ongoing game in Call of Duty Mobile for Multiplayer mode.

First off, this post only covers Multiplayer mode since yours truly does not really play Battle Royale. Have been playing since Season 7 up to current and attained the rank of LEGENDARY (Multiplayer Mode) in all mentioned seasons.

For those who are wondering, I’m not really a big fan of Battle Royale simply because I find Multiplayer mode more challenging and intense. Because of the small map and quick objectives, there is more action and opportunity to test your skills and prove your mettle against other good players.

However, due to the intense challenge, some players quit or leaves the game even though the round is not yet finished.

Why do some players leave the game in CODM multiplayer mode? There are different reasons why players do this but the most common ones are listed below:

• Laggy internet connection affecting their gameplay
• Matched against strong opponents
• Playing with other toxic players
• They are trash talking or being toxic but cannot back it up with their skills

The first three bullets are reasonable – but the last one is quite unacceptable.

As mentioned, yours truly has been playing for quite some time and did encounter some of these so-called toxic players. They will start talking trash to other players and it can be quite annoying. To make matters worse, if they can’t walk the talk, they’ll just ran away. This basically means that if you provoke someone to give their best but don’t have the necessary skills to match it up, then be man enough not to quit before the round ends.

Just to reiterate, there is nothing wrong with quitting or leaving the game early. It just becomes annoying if you do it for the wrong reasons (last bullet / reason listed above)

How to know if a player quits multiplayer mode in CODM?

It is actually quite simple to see who left the game before the match ends. This can be done via the Reports section that appears after the round. Once inside the Reports section, players who left have a red running man icon besides their name.

Should we report players who quit the CODM Multiplayer game? NO!

Do not report players who left the game simply they quit. Again, there is nothing wrong if a player leaves the match before it ends. You should only report another player if they fall on any of the categories below:

• Offensive Username 
• Verbal Abuse
• Inactivity or being killed on purpose
• Cheating, Trainers
• Others (wherein you will be asked for more info)
  

So if a player has violated or done of the items above, then he / she left the game, then it is ok to report them.

Is there a penalty if a player leaves the CODM multiplayer mode?

Only in a Rank Match. During a rank match and one of your teammates leave the game early, all the remaining members will receive a free crate as compensation.

However, it seems that for non-rank matches, nothing happens when one of the teammates quits. He’ll just have a red running man icon besides his name

 

That just about it. Call of Duty Mobile (popularly shortened to CODM) is currently one of the best mobile game around. It is a first person shooting game enjoyed by millions of people of different age group. Be kind and courteous to other players so everyone can enjoy and have fun playing the game.
