Link Verify BDO to GCash successfully with the steps below. This tutorial will guide the
user on how to link BDO to GCash as a debit card. Once verified, the BDO card /
account can now be used to transfer money to the GCash wallet via the Cash In option. To put it simply, after
completing this tutorial, it would be now possible to put funds / money to the
GCash wallet which is deducted from the balance of the BDO account by using the GCash Cash In option

i. Requirement Checklist
- BDO debit card that is already enrolled for internet banking (this step is important to ensure that the BDO account can perform online money transfer or transactions)
- The actual / physical BDO debit card (also very important as some information on the card will be used later to link BDO to GCash)
- A fully verified GCash account (to remove all limits on the GCash account)
- BDO and GCash mobile app
- A piece of paper to write down important information during the linking and verification process (for instance, the current balance seen in the BDO mobile app, the deducted amount, etc…)
If all requirements are already available, please proceed with the step by step process below
ii. Step by Step Process on How to Link BDO to GCash
A. Log in to BDO mobile app and take note (or a screenshot of the current balance)
It would be better to write this down instead of just taking a mental note
B. Open the GCash app and click the upper left icon
C. Click on My Linked Accounts and then choose My
Debit Cards
D. Click Add a Card under the My Debit Cards sections
It can be noticed that this section is empty if there are no existing linked accounts. Once this BDO to GCash link is completed, it will appear in this section (more on this at the bottom part of this tutorial)
Remember, before clicking the
Add a Card button, be sure to have the
BDO Debit Card ready
E. Supply the Required Information
At the secured page, simply
input the following necessary information of the BDO debit card to link it to
GCashE. Supply the Required Information
• Card number
• Card Expiration Date (month and year)
• Card CVV
• Cardholder name
Follow the on-screen instructions wherein a lot of processing within a secure page happens. When it’s all said and done, the verification process will appear. Basically, the BDO card is now added or linked to the GCash app, however, it still needs to be verified.
The linking BDO to GCash is almost complete – the only step remaining is verifying the card. To verify BDO to GCash, do the steps below.
1. Open the BDO mobile app and look at the current balance
It can be noticed that the current balance has been deducted by a certain amount. Note down on the piece of paper the difference of the current balance from the previous balance. This amount deduction / difference is important as it will be used to verify BDO to GCash
Remember item 1 (getting the Amount Deducted), it would be inputted on the specified section to finally verify BDO to GCash
Click Verify to complete the BDO to GCash verification

In fact, the steps here can be used to add any accredited Debit Cards, but of course, with some minor revisions.

There is no "My Debit Cards" under "My Linked Accounts" in my GCash app. I cannot link my BDO account. What should I do?
