Starsky and Hutch diecast featured here are from the Retro line of Hotwheels. The Starsky and Hutch movie car diecast was heavily sought after as it was only produced by a handful of toy manufacturers way back in the 80s and 90s. The most popular of which is toy maker Johnny Lightning in their Hollywood on Wheels line.
However, through the years, other diecast manufacturers have produced this Starsky and Hutch movie car replica. And one of them is Hotwheels. In fairness to Hotwheels, they made a decent job - accurate paintjob, metal chassis, rubber tires. The only thing lacking is a minor description of the car in the card / packaging which is why this Starsky and Hutch diecast is much better off loose or opened.
