UPDATE: Feb 19, 2019: Before anything else, this very important Globe Rewards information needs urgent attention:
As can be seen in the above photo, please be warned that there are multiple scam Rewards posts proliferating in Facebook. Unscrupulous individuals are posting such messages in the hopes of duping unsuspecting victims. When encountering mentioned or similar posts, please DO NOT follow the instructions.

The format: GIFT SURF1D <Mobile Number> is the syntax that basically gives away the indicated promo (SURF1D in this case) to the specified number at the expense of the sender's Globe Reward points. The sender does not receive anything, no load and no free data is received when sending the specified syntax to 4438.
Additionally, aside from FB posts, variants of the Rewards Gifting Scam may also be received via text messages. When receiving SMS messages promising free load or internet by simply sending a particular format (similar to the photo above) to a certain number not familiar to you, avoid doing so as not to fall victim to the modus of the Globe Reward scammer.
Next important item that needs special attention is that all Globe Reward points earned last year (2018) will expire on March 31, 2019.

Use it NOW before it’s too LATE!!! Globe Rewards
Points earned last year can only be redeemed until March 31. Any unused
points after this date will be forfeited. Instead of being wasted, get an
awesome treat from merchant partner stores or avail cool Globe promos by simply using Globe Rewards points.
What is Globe Rewards Points?
Rewards is a point-earning program from Globe Telecoms. How to use Globe Rewards is very simple and is open to both prepaid and
postpaid subscribers of Globe and Touch Mobile (TM) (although some SIM would
require registration).
On the other hand, Postpaid subscribers earn Rewards Points depending on their type of plan, while prepaid subscribers receives a point for each of their reload transactions.
On the other hand, Postpaid subscribers earn Rewards Points depending on their type of plan, while prepaid subscribers receives a point for each of their reload transactions.
How to Earn Points?
Based on experience, the computation of receiving reward
points is equivalent to 2% of the reload
amount. Let's look at some examples: if
a subscriber loaded 10 pesos, he / she will receive .2 Reward Points; 1 point
for 50 pesos; 1.4 points for 70 pesos; and so on...
Based on observation, it is also important to note that reloading
via Share a Load is exempted from this program. This simply means that any
loads acquired via SAL will not earn a Reward point. This is the reason why some
users have Gcash, AMAX, and call cards as their preferred reload methods.
Rewards Points Benefits
To most subscribers, loading regularly is a must --
otherwise, there's not much one can do with the prepaid number. Just think
about it, without load (prepaid credits), the mobile number wouldn't be able to
enjoy data, call, SMS, and other services offered by Globe Telecoms
Since loading is necessary, then why not receive something
cool in return.

Where to use Globe Reward Points?
Globe Rewards Points is as good as cash for partner stores. Some
favorites that first comes to mind are KFC, Marks and Spencer, and Dairy Queen.
Remember, 1 Reward point is equal to 1
pesos. If one has 100 Reward points, it is like having 100 pesos that can
be used for merchant partners such as KFC or Dairy Queen.
Of course, merchant
stores are not only limited to food outlets -- Reward points can also
be used in SM cinemas, Quantum, National Bookstore, Bench, etc...
Aside from shopping and dining, Globe Rewards Poins can also
be converted to SMAC points, accepted at selected Shell Gas stations, and can
be used to avail Globe Telco products (promos).
Here's also a nifty tip: BPI Real Thrills points can be
converted to Globe Rewards Points. As checked last time, BPI Real Thrills 12,000
points is equivalent to only 1,000 worth of GC. However, only 10K BPI Real Thrills is needed for
1,000 Globe Reward Points. Needless to say, this 1,000 Rewards points will
go a long way since its expiry is March 31 of the next year.
GIfting Rewards Points
Gifting Globe Rewards Points is also possible. Brighten
anyone's day by gifting them a Globe promo. A popular product only available in
Globe Rewards is SURF1D. This data
promo is 1GB for 1day -- enough to play online games or watch streaming videos
within a day.

the Globe Rewards app or check it out via USSD (dial *143#)
Reminder again that points earned last year will expire in
March 31. Check out your balance and look at the updated list of merchant
partner stores.
